In this role, you’ll be assisting in the marketing for DHP Family’s ticket agent, alt. tickets, creating, publishing and monitoring content to grow the alt. brand, as well as promote the shows, tours and festivals on sale. The role demands constant liaison with many people both within the organisation and externally, so excellent communication skills are essential. The role fits within the marketing department but relies on working closely with the Head of Ticketing and the ticketing department.

Tasks

  • Creating engaging social media content for alt. tickets’ Facebook, Twitter and Instagram platforms
  • Monitoring performance of social media content to help inform improvements across platforms
  • Liaising with the alt. tickets and ticketing teams to maximise sales on alt. tickets
  • Responding to queries on social platforms, providing excellent customer service
  • Updating the alt. tickets website with engaging content, such as blogs and images
  • Liaising with internal and external promoters to plan and implement marketing plans for shows, tours and festivals
  • Assisting with national, regional and targeted email marketing and creating reports of KPIs
  • Creating, reporting and analysing online advertisements across various platforms
  • Supporting growth by constantly looking for areas of improvement across alt. tickets and its marketing output
  • Any other relevant task as determined by your line manager

 

Who we’re looking for:

  • Someone with experience in a marketing role or a degree in a related subject
  • Someone with a love for live music and interest in the industry
  • Someone with excellent copywriting and creative skills
  • A good communicator who is confident to share ideas
  • Someone with attention to detail
  • A very organised individual
  • A quick learner with a drive to grow and develop in role
  • Someone who is IT literate, with basic knowledge of digital marketing (e.g. Facebook ads)

The role is based at the DHP Family’s Head Office situated in the Lace Market area of Nottingham City Centre, on a 35 hour week basis. There are peak periods which might require flexible working times e.g. weekend working to deliver the needs of the business.
