Bar Staff –Rescue Rooms & Stealth

Context
Rescue Rooms and Stealth are part of DHP Family, one of the UK’s most exciting and creative entertainment companies. Both venues have been open for over seventeen years, putting on music gigs for major artists such as The Killers, Dizzie Rascal, Stormzy, Lewis Calpaldi and many more. Both venues put on successful club nights, with most nights filling our 1220 capacity rooms with different themes in each room. Rescue Rooms has a bar which is open Tuesday – Saturday from 4pm selling bespoke cocktails and craft beers for a chilled atmosphere.
Job Purpose
We are looking to recruit Bar Staff to work at Rescue Rooms and Stealth with bar and cocktail experience with leadership qualities.
The purpose of the role is to help the venues maximize turnover by good customer service, bar skills and good knowledge of products. Emphasis will be on service standards, health & safety and food/beverage training and development.
The successful candidate will….
Be an excellent bartender with proven experience
Have a passion for live music and the venues they work in.
Possess proven organisational, presentation and communication skills
Be self-motivated and able to work on own initiative without supervision
To ensure the venue is operating at a safe and excellent level of service through bar and compliance procedures.
To provide support to the venue general manager and Head Supervisor during the shift
Key Responsibilities
· Serving drinks to customers during a shift
– Changing barrels and post mix as required
-Communicating with customers
– Collecting glasses during housekeeping
– Checking toilets
– Maintaining Health and Safety during a shift
– Maintaining Hygiene levels while working on the bar
– Being able to work as a team
– Stocking up fridges
– Cleaning down of venue

Please be advised that this post requires a mixture of daytime, evening (including late night) and weekend shifts.
Preferred Experience & Qualifications
Previous experience in training in a bar / cocktail environment
