Nottingham’s much loved music venue Bodega has signed up to be the Away kit sponsors for Notts County Women bringing together two iconic names central to the fabric of the city.
The Hockley venue is a much loved institution in Nottingham and plays a huge part in creating the vibrant music culture of the city. It also has a proud tradition of supporting women’s football, from showing matches to welcoming players, staff and fans into the venue.
Sam Keirl, promotions manager at the Bodega said: “We’re totally chuffed to be away shirt sponsors for Notts County Women in the upcoming season. As proud supporters of women’s football, it’s an honour to have our Bodega badge next to the iconic County badge as the players hit the road. Come on you Pies!”
The striking yellow and black away shirts will be on show for the Magpies first game in the FA Women’s National League at Lincoln City on 20 August. Notts County Women will proudly carry a part of Nottingham with them on their travels this season.

The kit looks absolutely fantastic, and I am sure the fans will want to get hold of a few to wear with pride as they support us on the road this year, as will fans of the Bodega.

Notts County’s Number 1, Philipa Davies, said: “We are really excited to partner with the Bodega, they have some great ideas for ways in which we can partner up this year as well as supporting us with a fantastic sponsorship. A lot of the players enjoy going to gigs and seeing live music at the Bodega and it’s going to be extra special to see the shirt up on the wall. We had a great time meeting everyone and getting some shots of the new kit, which the players love already.”
Notts County Women launched ahead of the 2018-19 season and went on to compete in East Midlands Division 1 South. During an inaugural campaign, which saw them go on an outstanding 16-match unbeaten run, the first team finished as runners up in both the league and cup. In their most recent campaign, the Magpies were promoted to the FA Women’s National League and grow from strength to strength under the management of Adam Dunleavy.
A limited run of kits will be available to pre order shortly for all those who want to get their hands on their own Bodega shirt.
