The intimate 350 capacity venue in Hackney, which we opened just last year was handpicked as the place the band wanted to showcase material from their highly-anticipated new album, ‘Wilder Mind’, due for release in May 2015.
Fans were the first to know via an email, with tickets for the small London shows on Monday 9th March and Tuesday 10th March selling out shortly after going on public sale at 9am each day, only hours ahead of the band appearing on stage.
Anton Lockwood, our Promotions Director said: “It’s great to welcome Mumford & Sons to Oslo. The show last night (Monday 9th March) was a fantastic opportunity to see this stadium filling band air new material at close quarters. It’s brilliant to see Oslo attract such globally renowned artists and just goes to show that the venue is now considered the go-to, flagship venue of its size in London.”
If you’ve yet to pay a visit to the Nordic bar, kitchen and venue known as Oslo, you can drop in next door to Hackney Central on Amhurst Road, Monday to Sunday, 12pm ’til late or visit the Oslo website here.
