Footsteps Festival is a new, five-day celebration of music, art, and community set to take over London from 19th–23rd May 2025. Featuring an exciting mix of emerging artists and a sprinkling of iconic acts, the first wave of the lineup includes performances across some of the city’s most beloved independent venues, such as Moth Club, Paper Dress Vintage, Scala, Islington Assembly Hall, and EartH Theatre. Artists leading the way in this initial announcement include John Roseboro, Home Counties, Lunar Vacation, Kate Bollinger, Prima Queen, The Vaselines, Honeyglaze, The Lovely Eggs and more.

Fans should keep their eyes peeled for more special announcements including underplay shows in interesting spaces and venue takeovers in the new year.

Footsteps festival will be a showcase of incredible music and a celebration of the vital role independent venues play in fostering London’s vibrant music and cultural scene. By highlighting a diverse range of spaces – from grassroots community hubs to iconic music halls – the festival shines a spotlight on the importance of these venues in nurturing talent and creating communities.

Footsteps is the new festival from the team behind MIRRORS Festival and Society Exists, a sonically diverse day festival held in Dalston earlier this year. Following this first wave announcement, the festival will reveal a second wave of shows in early 2025, culminating in over 20+ gigs across London.

Tickets are available here.
