We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Promotions Co-ordinator to join the events and marketing team at the infamous Rescue Rooms in Nottingham!
Hours per week: 20+
Hourly rate: £11 p/h
Starting: ASAP
Rescue Rooms is a live music venue, club space and late-night bar, located next door to the infamous Rock City in central Nottingham, hosting hundreds of live shows a year and fun events every night of the week. Previous guests include Inhaler, Little Simz, The Chats, Wolf Alice, Sports Team, Turnover, Two Door Cinema Club, Squid, The Orielles; all alongside legendary club nights like Stealth vs. Rescued and bar events like Acoustic Rooms and our renowned Quiz & Karaoke.
If you have a passion for music and parties, a great knowledge of the Nottingham nightlife scene and a feverish desire to pursue a career in events, we’re here for it, and we’d love to hear from you. The role is currently part-time, with the potential for the right candidate to progress into a full-time position in the future, with career progression a real possibility.
Along with a competitive wage and benefits, you would work alongside the Promotions Manager and be responsible for the following:
- Assisting with the development of a successful club night and bar event programme.
- Managing and growing the venue’s various social media accounts.
- Building and overseeing an active and passionate street team.
- Managing some of our in-house events on the night: liaising with DJs and hosts etc.
- Co-ordinating all marketing activity for the venue, from digital to traditional.
- Liaising with external suppliers and clients, such as promoters and ticketing agents.
