A huge, huge thank you to everyone who came to this year’s Splendour Festival. It was amazing to see so many brilliant live bands and local talent, as well as the absolutely amazing crowds full of people enjoying themselves! We can’t wait for #Splendourfestival 2014…
Jake Bugg delivered a rousing version of Neil Young’s Hey Hey, My My (Into the Black) before closing last night’s headline set at the Splendour festival with a triumphant version of his own hit single Lightning Bolt.
In front of 20,000 hometown fans at Nottingham’s Wollaton Hall, Jake played a mix of material from his No.1 hit album, choice covers and several new songs. Now in our sixth year, Splendour drew a record crowd with other artists on the bill including Squeeze, KT Tunstall, Maximo Park, Peter Hook and the Light and Dog is Dead.
